Project: "Waste Management Plan for the Municipality of Gjorche Petrov"

Leading NGO on the project: NGO "Civil Environmental Forum-GEF ", Skopje

Objective: To help the NGO sector and the local community (Municipality in which the company is situated) in the implementation of the project in the field of environmental protection (waste management).

Activities:

•     Preparation of Waste Management Plan for the Municipality of Gjorche Petrov;
•     Implement composting in primary schools and rural parts of the Municipality of Gjorche Petrov;
•      Training local population and students from the Municipality for domestic waste composting and selecting;
•     Selective collection of PET and paper.

Results:

• Prepared Waste Management Plan and Program and accepted by the Council of the Municipality of Gjorche Petrov;
• Realized  trainings for local citizens and students.
