Within the project "Promoting Principles for Business and Human Rights" funded by the European Union and implemented by NGO Konekt and Business Confederation of the Republic of N.Macedonia, which aims to support economic and social rights in the private sector by promoting business and human rights, Farmahem won another recognition for its strong commitment to promoting human rights in business.
This recognition is very important because it confirms that Farmahem is a company dedicated to protecting and promoting human rights. Respect for human rights is incorporated in all of our business practices and policies and in accordance with United Nations Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights (UNGPs). The UNGP is an instrument consisting of 31 principles that sets the UN framework for the protection, respect and remedies of human rights related to managing business. They are a global standard for the prevention and management of the risk of adverse impacts on human rights related to business and a guide for improving standards and practices of business and human rights.
